UK band Echo Town consists of free spirited brothers Ric and Rob Harrison. Mostly recognised for being eclectic sounding multi-instrumentalists, popular for their contemporary freedom songs of conquering conflicts in everyday life and promoting global harmony.
The audience are often surprised to find such a full sound emanates from only two musicians who are well known for their vibrant and energetic performances. The brothers have been performing to a live audience under the band name Echo Town for over three years all around the country, performing at festivals, music venues and private events. This has included headlining main stage shows and charity events, as well as opening for band Bite the Buffalo in November 2013 in Bristol England, who were featured on the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury.
Echo Town released their second album ‘Come on Over’ in June 2011, inspired by family relationships, the great outdoors and surfing on the East English coast. ‘Come on Over’ was accompanied by music video for their single ‘Feeling Alright’. This summer 2014 they recorded their third album. The album is set to depict the possibility of artistic and personal growth despite living in a predominantly negative society.
In August 2013 they filmed a set of promotional videos with Harbourside Sessions Music Video Company, based in Southern England for sponsors Weissenborn Anderwood Guitars. Echo Town was featured on both Weissenborn and Harbourside websites.
Radio DJ Alan Raw, from BBC Introducing West Yorkshire England radio station, featured Echo Town performing a live set and interview in August 2014. Echo Town also featured in a live performance and interview on Phoenix FM Radio show based in the Calderdale District, Halifax, England in December 2012.
